RCS Rene Descartes was a battleship of the Republic of Cinnabar Navy.
In 5147 CE it served as Admiral Ingreit's flagship, and was dispatched to the Kostroma system once word of a soon-to-happen coup d'etat against the Elector reached the Navy. At the time, it was commanded by Captain Lairden.
It wasn't very new, and generally served as a guardship.1:1
